Overview
This course will cover all aspects of the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (British Standard 7671:2018) which provides an in-depth study of the UK wiring regulations. These are the regulations with which you must comply as an electrician in the UK.
You will study terminologies and earthing systems, and the selection of protective devices for a wide range of electrical installations. In addition, you will learn how to use the charts and tables to select suitable fuse and circuit breaker ratings, and to determine RCD trip times, cable current ratings and voltage drops.
The course also includes the regulations for special installations in areas such as bath and shower rooms, swimming pools, hot air saunas, construction sites and caravan parks.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements. However, candidates require a basic knowledge of electrical science, in addition to commitment and hard work.
